Biographical information | Son of Rodolphe Ferdinand Grand and Marie Sylvestre. In 1790, he married the granddaughter of Pierre-Philippe Cannac, Anne Philippine Victoire (1770-1829). It is her who gives to the Grand Family the Hauteville Estate and the castle. Daniel was successively Banker in Amsterdam, Treasurer at the Swedish court and then Mayor of Saint-Légier - La Chiiésaz. He was also Deputy to the Grand Council Vaudois. Daniel had a daughter, Aimée Philippine Marie, born in 1791. | |
