| Content | In his autobiography, Ghiotti first writes about his parents and in particular about his father who caused a scandal by leaving his wife and child in 1767 in Turin to become organist and maître de musique in Yverdon (canton of Vaud). Ghiotti then reports in detail about his youth and his life as a musician. Mourning poems about the death of his wife, who died after 1814, towards the end of the text. |
