Content | Private diary, conducted over a long period of time. Forster starts writing on her 18th birthday, beginning with a kind of retrospective look at her life so far. She writes about her reading, deaths, her children, correspondence and personal considerations, all in a sensitive language. The Burgerbibliothek has many other self-testimonies of Therese Forster, such as diaries for the years 1816 and 1825 (FA of Gruyeres 102 and 103). |
