Content | The diary is about the negotiations that led a Grisons delegation in Milan on the Veltliner subjects. The background to this is the complaints made by the Veltliners to the administration of the city of Graubünden, the former finding a mediator in Milan. Salis was part of this delegation. The author reports on both political and social events in Milan, such as the preparations for the audience (new dress, salutation). Salis-Seewis reports exactly and in detail, describes about also broadly the equipment of the hotel. The report begins with the arrival and ends with the result of the negotiations, which according to Salis-Seewis was not satisfactory for the people of Grisons. Under the same signature are also 6 letters from Salis-Seewis from Milan to Minister U. von Salis-Marschlins. |
