Content
Louise Miéville began her diary after the birth of Julie, her first child. She would continue to write about her children and describes their education and general progress. She notes their health problems; as well as her own dedication to them. However, she does not write regularly. For instance, she makes six entries in 1792 but only one in 1797. She expresses her disappointment at not having time to write more often because of her full-time work. She is also troubled by health problems and financial worries.
