Content | Diary of de Goumoëns about his service as second lieutenant of the Company von Wattenwyl of the Regiment de Goumoëns in the Dutch military service, with corrections and numerous enclosed notes. The diary is a fair copy. It mainly describes an itinerary for which de Goumoëns merely provides the most important daily information: where he has eaten, spent the night, changed his means of transport, or which actions and movements of his regiment he participated in. Notebooks 1-13 contain the diary, notebook 14 contains the copy of a memorandum from the year 1795. |
