Biographical information | Son of Jean, colonel in the Austrian military, and Anne-Marie de Montenach. In 1762, he married Marie-Madeleine d’Affry, daughter of Louis Augustin Augustin. He studied at the Collège Saint-Michel in Fribourg, then at the Theresianum in Vienna. Between 1755 and 1759, he taught the Swiss Guards in France. Law studies in Vienna. In 1783, François Pierre played a role in the amendment of the Constitution, defending the rights of the nobility. Councillor in 1794. In 1799, Diesbach was imprisoned at Chillon Castle as a partisan of Austria. In 1803, he became prefect of Fribourg and in 1807, councillor. | |
